Kaesha Hagan has joined the Observer team, taking on the new role of engagement specialist. Her goal will be to increase overall readership engagement and help advertising partners prosper.

Previously, while running her own digital marketing business, Hagan provided communication solutions to clients worldwide, including using social media.

“Kaesha is the key to our transformation on how we do business in today’s business environment," Publisher John Walsh said. "We are moving forward and building on modern techniques and strategies that will not only benefit us but our advertising partners as well."

Hagan will be helping the community connect with the Observer team to get the most up-to-date information on their neighborhoods. With the roll-out of the Observer's new subscription and membership packages, she will also assist local businesses to increase the awareness of their products and services.

Hagan was in the Quanta Honors Program at Daytona State College and held a position as the assistant to the chairman of the School of Engineering. She was also on the honor roll and Dean’s List throughout her college career, all while making an impact in her community.

The Observer's mission statement: "To inspire our communities with extraordinary local content and to help our partners prosper."
