Flagler County funeral professional named area manager

Sal Passalaqua will also continue serving the Flagler community in his role with Craig-Flagler Palm Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.

Dignity Memorial

Craig-Flagler Palm Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, a Dignity Memorial® provider, extends its congratulations to Sal Passalaqua on being named the new Area Manager of Flagler/Volusia Counties.

Passalaqua will continue serving the Flagler community in his role with Craig-Flagler Palm Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, while aiding in the day-to-day operations of Volusia Memorial Funeral Homes and Memorial in Ormond Beach and Port Orange.

“Sal will undoubtedly be an asset in his role as area manager,” said Allen Whetsell, General Manager of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. “He is widely recognized as both an enthusiastic leader in the community and a caring counselor for our client families.”

An active community member, Passalaqua served on the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, as past chairman of the board, past president of the Kiwanis Club of Flagler County and Kiwanis Club of Palm Coast, served on board of the Italian-American Club, graduate of Flagler County Chamber Leadership Class 18 and Ormond Beach Chamber Leadership Class 17, as well as many other community organizations.

In 1992, Passalaqua graduated from Lynn University with a degree in mortuary science. Sal brings close to 30 years of experience in the funeral industry. He started as an attendant and worked his way up in the business. He's called Palm Coast his home since 2006 with his daughter, Alyna Passalaqua.
