On Thursday, June 10, Holland Financial, Inc., a locally owned financial services company, donated $5,000 to American Legion Post 267 in Ormond Beach through its PlanStronger Together initiative.

“The American Legion sponsored and supported me when I was part of the Boys’ State program as a high-school senior in 1986," said David Holland, founder and CEO of Holland Financial. "It’s only fitting that I can give back to them today.”

PlanStronger Together is the firm’s charitable giving program, which supports local public service organizations through monetary donations and in-kind services. In 2021, PlanStronger Together will provide funding to organizations that service veterans, victims of domestic violence, those suffering from food insecurity and breast cancer awareness. The donation to the American Legion was the first contribution presented this year, with a target of $20,000 allocated in total for the program.

Holland Financial is starting its 25th year of operations in July 2021.
