Saturday, June 29

Independence Day crafts

When: 2-3 p.m.

Where: Environmental Discovery Center, 601 Division Ave., Ormond Beach

Details: Children are invited to create an Independence Day craft. Free program. Space is limited. Call 615-7081.

 

Wednesday, July 3

'Fireworks in the Park' festivities

When: beginning at 6 p.m.

Where: Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave., Palm Coast

Details: Celebrate Independence Day with the city of Palm Coast’s patriotic ceremony and fireworks display — newly combined this year to offer one big festive, free evening. Beginning at 5 p.m., the intersection of Lake Avenue and City Place, and its immediate vicinity, will be closed off. The fun starts at 6 p.m. with music, face painting, trackless train, cornhole, inflatable basketball and Ultimate Battle Zone Sports nerf games. New this year is a patriotic ceremony at 7 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. While food and drinks will be available for purchase from various food trucks, coolers and pop-up tents are also allowed. Please bring your own chairs, sunscreen and bug spray. Chairs can be set up around the lake. Do not bring your own fireworks. Call 986-2323.

 

Red, White, and Brew

When: 6 p.m. to midnight

Where: Main Street, Daytona Beach

Details: Start celebrating early with this free event featuring five music stages, barbecue vendors, food trucks, a mechanical bull and stilt walkers. Bands start playing at about 7 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled for 11 p.m. Main Street will be closed off to vehicles from A1A to Peninsula. Event schedule available online. Sound of Summer ft. 'The A+ Team'

When: 6-9 p.m.

Where: One Daytona, 1 Daytona Blvd., Daytona Beach

Details: This 80s tribute band will be performing a free concert for Fourth of July at Victory Circle. Call 562-4720.

 

Thursday, July 4

Flagler Beach 4th of July

When: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: Veterans Park, 101 Flagler Beach to Marineland Trail, Flagler Beach

Details: There will be a 5K at 7-8 a.m. The Fabulous Fourth Parade on A1A will be at 10-11 a.m. Kids games and entertainment at Veterans Park throughout the day. Fireworks at the pier will be at 9-9:30 p.m. Free parking and shuttle buses from State Road 100 Badcock Furniture Plaza. Visit https://tinyurl.com/y64g2cwy for the full schedule of events.

 

Bull Creek's Fabulous Fourth

When: 5 p.m.

Where: Bull Creek Fish Camp, 3861 W County Road 2006, Bunnell

Details: At the fifth-annual event, there will be live music, a kid's zone, fireworks and food and drink specials.

 

Port Orange Fourth of July Spectacular

When: 5:30-9 p.m.

Where: City Center Municipal Complex, 1000 City Center Circle

Details: Come out for an evening of entertainment and fireworks. There will be two kids zones, dinner available at Food Court Alley, roaming magicians, clowns, stilt walkers and more. A live band will play at the Kenneth W. Parker Amphitheater. Bring blankets and chairs.

 

Ormond Beach Independence Day celebration

When: 6-9:30 p.m.

Where: Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Drive, Ormond Beach

Details: Head to the four parks at the base of the Granada Bridge to enjoy the city's Fourth of July celebration. Food vendors, kids games, live music and a firework display. Bring blankets and chairs. Parking available at public lots. Shuttle service provided.

 

Daytona Beach fireworks

When: 9:45 p.m.

Where: Daytona Beach Bandshell, 600 Auditorium Blvd., Daytona Beach

Details: Catch a firework show after the 7:15 p.m. show by Eagles Tribute band, "Alter Eagles." Free and open to the public. 

 

Coke Zero Sugar 400 weekend

When: July 4-6

Where: Daytona International Speedway, 1801 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach

Details: Celebrate the holiday weekend at the speedway. This race weekend brings together NASCAR, pageantry and patriotism, with drivers battling three-wide for victory. Ticket prices vary. Visit daytonainternationalspeedway.com
