Taste of the Fun Coast comes to Hammock Beach Resort Oct. 30

The event will feature the smooth jazz sounds of Pat D’Aguanno.

Taste of the Fun Coast will bring a variety of area restaurants and fine wines together for an evening of sipping and sampling from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Hammock Beach Resort, located at 200 Ocean Crest Drive. The event was created by Beach 92.7 in partnership with Hammock Beach Resort and ABC Fine Wine and Spirits.

It was recently rescheduled, as the effects of Hurricane Michael disrupted plans for the original date of Oct. 10.

“The idea came together beautifully,” said Flagler Broadcasting Vice President David Ayres in a news release. “With Hammock Beach Resort hosting and ABC more than happy to showcase their best purveyors, participation from quality area restaurants was easy.”

The event will also feature the smooth jazz sounds of Pat D’Aguanno and a poolside cigar bar with selections from the ABC walk in humidor.

The Sea Turtle Hospital at Whitney Labs and Flagler Free Clinic will benefit from sales of glittery bracelets that allow “all you care to sip and sample” at the event.

In addition to food and drink, purveyors will offer a variety of interactive sponsor exhibits and prizes.

A limited number of advance reserved bracelets are just $25 online or $30 at the door.
