The Palm Coast Garden Club held their Arbor Day May 13 at Central Park in Town Center. The club holds an Arbor Day each year to dedicate trees to those members who have died the previous year. President of the club, Tom McKean, thanked Public Works for their support in transporting and planting the tree.

The garden club has planted trees all over the county, from the former City Hall to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice house and many other places. A plaque of those who died was placed in front of the maple tree. Those that were honored for 2015 were Jocyline Medina, John Roberts, Josephine Skon and Carolyn Taylor.
