Flagler County Fair to feature Rock n' Rib Fest

This week's biggest event is Flagler County Fair, Youth Show and Rib Fest 

April 6-10 at the Flagler County Fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell. 5-11 p.m. Thursday, 4-11 p.m. Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Visit flaglercountyfair.com. Rib Fest will be all day Saturday with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.


Thursday, April 7
Daughters of the American Revolution Meeting
10:30 a.m. at the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church, 1520 S. Daytona Ave., Flagler Beach. The program will feature a presentation by the Disabled American Veterans and celebrate the annual awards month. Call 864-8880.

Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Support Group

Relay for Life
6 p.m. to 7 a.m. at Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. Opening ceremonies will be at 6 p.m., with the survivor lap at 6:45 p.m. Call 274-3274, ext. 5852

Saturday, April 9
Flagler County’s Walk for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Registration is from 7:30-9 a.m. at Matanzas High School, 3535 Old Kings Road N. Participation is free, donations welcomed. Walk begins at 9 a.m. Before or after the walk, join the Palm Coast Lions Club for an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast 7:30-10:30 for $5.

Santa Maria del Mar Mission Possible 5k

The American Association of University Women

Garden club meeting

Kevin Bagwell, of Full Moon Natives, will talk on attracting butterflies and hummingbirds by planting native plants and herbs.
