‘We wanted a unique, sweet gift’
Arrangements floral boutique and Cakery Creation of Ormond Beach have joined forces to create a unique gift for Mother's Day.
The buyer gets a box with six cupcakes, decorated to look like flowers, and six floral arrangements, each the size of a cupcake. The price for a box of 12 is $36, and for a box of four, $12. They are offering delivery for $25.
“We wanted to offer a unique, sweet gift for Mother’s Day,” said Shauna Altes, of Arrrangements. “We wanted to create something beautiful and memorable, and combining delicious cupcakes and gorgeous flowers just seemed perfect.”
Shoppers can stop by Cakery Creation, 11 W. Granada Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; or order by calling 295-0911 or visiting arrangements.pro.
Arrangements is a floral boutique owned by Altes and partner Kaitlin Gordon specializing in weddings and events. They can be reached at 295-0911.
Cakery Creation is owned by Liz Huber who opened the shop in February after running her business from a commercial kitchen for several years.
“I needed a retail location,” she said.
Huber, who grew up in Ormond Beach, said she is pleased with the refurbishment of the buildings and streetscaping of Granada Boulevard.
“They are revamping the whole area,” she said. “I definitely want to be part of it.”
