O’Donnell also presented the Citizen of the Year award to Suzanne Gamblain, executive director of Flagler Volunteer Services for everything she does in the community.

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach also installed their new 2014-2015 officers and directors.
New officers are as follows: President Kim Carney, President Elect Kathy Somers, Secretary Debby Meyer, Treasurer Kathy Somers and Immediate Past President Tim O’Donnell. Directors installed include: Christine Apetz, Karen Farrell, Mark Gerling, Richard McCleery and Roseanne Stocker.

IBM awards grant to Palm Coast Arts Foundation
The Palm Coast Arts Foundation recently received a grant in the amount of $2,000 from International Business Machines Corporation (IBM). The IBM Community Grants program provides grants to eligible community organizations where IBM employees and retirees are actively volunteering in community organizations. The grant was awarded in recognition of the volunteer service of Joseph Ganci, a retired IBM employee and president ex-officio of the foundation.

This grant is being used to upgrade the organization’s website and software programs.

“Any grant, no matter how large, is significant to the Foundation. It’s very important to keep in touch with all of our donors, members, community leaders, etc. and this grant will enable us to do just that with the new technology available,” said Sam Perkovich, president of the Palm Coast Arts Foundation.
This is the eighth grant the Palm Coast Arts Foundation has received from IBM.
