Deputies search for missing teen

UPDATE: Tereasa Padilla was found safe by Flagler Beach Police Department officers Aug. 20.

Flagler County deputies are searching for 17-year-old Tereasa Padilla, a resident of Lloyd Trail in Palm Coast, according to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office news release.

A guardian dropped her off at Wickline Park, near the Flagler Beach Police Department, at about 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1. On Sunday, Aug. 10, she was seen leaving her mother’s home on Central Avenue in Flagler Beach.

Deputies believe Tereasa is in the Flagler Beach area, and that she may be staying at a home on South Oceanshore Boulevard, according to the news release.

She is 5-foot, 4-inches tall and about 200 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.

The Sheriff’s Office has asked anyone who has seen her to call Detective Mark Moy at 386-313-4911.
