City Repertory Theatre will present “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” by Jeffrey Hatcher, adapted from the Robert Louis Stevenson novella, opening 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25, at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite B207.

On the fog-bound streets of Victorian-era London, Dr. Henry Jekyll's experiments with exotic powders and tinctures have brought forth his other self — Edward Hyde, a sensualist and villain free to commit the sins Jekyll is too civilized to comprehend. When Hyde meets a woman who stirs his interest, Jekyll fears for her life and decides to end his experiments.

But Hyde has other ideas, and so the two sides battle each other in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse to determine who shall be the master and who his slave.

Jonathan Haglund, Peter Gutierrez and Bobbi Fouts star in the show, which will run through Nov. 2 with 2 p.m. matinées Oct. 27 and Nov. 3.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and can be purchased online at www.crtpalmcoast.com or by calling 585-9415.
