At a recent American Legion Flagler Post 115 and Auxiliary 115 meeting, the Flagler Palm Coast High School students that attended the 2013 prestigious program for a week in early July in Tallahassee were recognized. The representatives all gave a brief speech about their experience in Tallahassee, where they learned about Florida government and how it operates.

Each representative was presented with the American Legion Good Citizenship Citation and an American Legion Boy’s State Medal.

This is the sixth year in a row that American Legion Post 115 has sent four boys to represent Palm Coast. The selection process for 2014 candidates will begin in the fall. The next meeting of American Legion Flagler Post 115 will be 6 p.m. Oct. 14, at the VFW Hall, 47 N. Old Kings Road.
