Move over, great whites. Here comes the “Tiger Shark Express.” Dr. Guy Harvey will introduce and discuss his newest documentary, an adventure story representing five years of expeditions and research across the Atlantic, 6:30 p.m. June 7, at the Flagler Auditorium.

The film will allow viewers to journey into the lab, the field and underwater with Harvey and the world’s top shark scientists to reveal new information about marine creatures and the ocean. The film brings together Harvey, a world-renowned marine wildlife artist and conservationist, with shark geneticist Dr. Mahmood Shivji, shark tracker Dr. Brad Wetherbee, and modern day shark researcher Dr. Samuel Gruber. Joining with the team is veterinarian Dr. Neil Burnie, as well as Jim Abernethy, one of the world’s top shark divers, and Emmy Award winning producer/cameraman George Schellenger.

Part of the proceeds from the evening with Guy Harvey will fund field trips for students in Northeast Florida to visit Marineland Dolphin Adventure, which celebrates its 75th Anniversary this year. Formerly known as Marine Studios, Marineland Dolphin Adventure was conceived and built as an underwater filming studio, where filmmakers can create and explore a new way of filming by showcasing marine animals in a naturalistic habitat.

Tickets are $13.95 for adults and $9.95 for students. Each ticket also includes admission to Marlineland Dolphin Adventure Saturday, June 8. Tickets can be purchased at the Flagler Auditorium's box office, 5500 State Road 100. Call 437-7547.
