+Ocean Publishing hits film festival
Flagler Beach’s independent Ocean Publishing journeyed north Sept. 20 to Sept. 23, for the Gray’s Reef Ocean Film Festival, in Savannah, Ga. Its newest author, Kevin McCarey, and its veteran Jean-Michel Cousteau signed copies of their books. Publisher Frank Gromling introduced the film shown on the festival’s opening night.

+Prestige Partners names partner of the year
John Gilvary of Sharkscaping Services was named chapter member of the year for the Prestige Partners Chapter of Palm Coast for Business Network International. Gilvary is now in the running for regional member of the year during the Northeast BNI Regional Conference Oct. 19.

+Chrysler gains sales manager
Palm Coast Flagler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram hired Scott Rose as a new sales manager.

+CNA recognized for service
Annette Woods, a certified nursing assistant who has worked with Visiting Angels Senior Home Care for seven years, was selected by management from more than 200 caregivers to be recognized for her service to clients.
