+Belle Terre Elementary remembers Mr. Murray
Belle Terre Elementary School recently paid its respects to teacher Bill Murray, who died this summer.

“If one were to do the math on how many students' lives he has been a part of, it shows evidence on how teachers do affect eternity,” said teacher Cindy Kalcounos. “It is apparent that Mr. Murray’s close friends and colleagues recognized his numerous years of dedication to education and they found two ways to honor his legacy.”

Murray now has a tile with his name, and the sixth-grade portable hallway was dedicated to him, which is now titled, “Murray Way.”

“Through the collaboration of Mr. Murray’s colleagues and administration, these types of acts allows memorials to continue to influence the students and the faculty,” Kalcounos said. “Mr. Murray may no longer be with us, but he is certainly not forgotten as his influences will never stop.”
