The Flagler Palm Coast High School band recently participated in the 76th-annual Florida Bandmasters Association State Concert Music Performance Assessment, held at Florida State University.

Out of 43 bands, FPC’s Symphonic Band was one of seven to receive straight superior ratings. They also receive the Otto J. Kraushaar award, which is awarded to bands that have received superior ratings two consecutive years.

The Flagler Palm Coast High School Concert Band received straight excellent ratings and is the first second-tier FPC band that has traveled to the state festival.

“I am very proud of the students’ music-making and their hard work,” said Director John Seth. “It is an amazing way to wrap up a great year.”
