The Flagler Fury Basketball Club recently kicked off its travel season with a movie night and potluck dinner for the players and their families as well as team bonding games and activities run by junior coach Jessica DiMaria. Players also competed in a free throw shoot-a-thon as a fundraiser to help offset players’ travel season expenses.

The Flagler Fury Basketball Club is overseen by Flagler Palm Coast High School Lady Bulldogs head coach Javier Bevacqua, and is in its second season. The club consists of approximately 50 youth from the area which make up four girls teams and one boys team. The Fury also hosts a Fury Basketball Academy every Saturday for girls wanting to learn the fundamentals of the game and improve their skills.
