Panera Bread has now targeted April 11 as the opening date for its new Palm Coast restaurant, according to Eryn Catter, director of public relations and sales for the restaurant.
The initial date was April 18, but was moved up to April 4 earlier this month. Now, the opening is set for mid-April, Catter confirmed Wednesday via email. Restaurant openings typically occur on Wednesdays, Catter added.
Panera held a job fair Saturday, March 10, which went "amazing," Catter said.
According to Catter, 30 emplpyees were hired and an additional 20 will be hired before the restaurant opens.
