Sorority awards eight scholarships

The Chi Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. awarded scholarships to eight students from Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas high schools. 

The sorority has given more than $50,000 in scholarships since the chapter began in 2001, in Palm Coast.

This year’s recipient are Carlton Mwalily, Seife Holley, Kimberly King, Tsahai Payne-Clark, Nicholas Medina, Dentika Safaite, Margaret Dorzinma and DeVaughn Accoo.
