Indian Trails Middle School and Rymfire Elementary School are A-OK.

Superintendent Janet Valentine received a call this week from Pam Stewart, state chancellor of education, to report that a mistake was made in the calculations of school grade. These changes were identified during the review process that occurs between the time initial school grades are released and final school grades are published after an appeals process has been completed.

This phase of the school grading process, which involves district validation, provides transparency and helps ensure the final grades are correct.

The new calculations include changes for Flagler County. Indian Trails Middle and Rymfire Elementary schools have moved from a B to an A grade.
