+ Local company draws Space Shuttle Atlantis support structure

Hollywood Structural Detailing Inc., which has been located in Palm Coast since 2002, was hired to make shop and erection drawings for the structure that holds the Space Shuttle Atlantis in its new Orbiter facility at the Kennedy Space Center.

The company used a 3D program called Tekla Structure to draw and test the structure and frames designed to remove extra material after Atlantis was rotated and locked in place.

+ Coast Title hires two

Jennifer Linehan and Stacy Tutunjian have joined Coast Title’s team. Linehan has been hired as a junior closer. She has several years of experience in the real estate field. Prior to relocating to Florida, she worked as a paralegal assistant for a real estate attorney in Massachusetts.

Tutunjian has been hired as a closing processor. She has been in the real estate/title insurance industry since 1991.

+ Hammock Beach Resort’s Green Team makes donation to Flagler Humane Society

Hammock Beach Resort’s Green Team donated more than 100 lounge chair cushions to the feline residents of the Flagler Humane Society Dec. 11. The cushions, which were once poolside lounge chair cushions, have been repurposed to be cushions for the comfort of the cats at Flagler Humane Society.

The Hammock Beach Resort Green Team also donated food, toys and other items for the animals at the Flagler Humane Society.

Made of Hammock Beach Resort employees, the Green Team was established in 2008 to help the resort reduce waste and also contribute in the continuous efforts to keep Flagler County environmentally healthy and to support local charities.

+ Anytime Fitness changes owners 

James Magliulo purchased the Palm Coast branch of Anytime Fitness from Jeff Hall in September. Hall plans to open two Anytime Fitness branches in Fernandina Beach, which is closer to home for him.

Magliulo owns two other branches of the gym in Odessa and Oldsmar. He has family in Palm Coast, which prompted his purchase.

M Louis & Company is now more than a salon: It’s a spa, too. The company recently underwent a physical expansion, which yielded The Beauty Factor Spa. The spa offers manicures, facials massages, waxing and more.
