The Flagler Humane Society will host a bowling fundraiser, Bark and Bowl, 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Coquina Lanes, 11 Old Kings Road N.

Tickets are $15 and include hors d'oeuvres, a drink, unlimited bowling and shoe rental. Tickets are available at the Flagler Humane Society, 1 Shelter Drive. Call 216-6375.

Other weekend events include:
Feral Cat Caretaking Workshop — 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, 20 Airport Road. Learn how to care for the feral and stray cats in your community. Sponsored by Flagler Cats. Advance registration required; email [email protected] or call 503-4250. Tickets are $10 and will be available until noon Friday, Aug. 24. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.

Veterans Meeting — 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Amvets, 2525 N. U.S. 1, Bunnell. To join the VFW Post 5213, call 437-6865.

Tai Chi by the Sea — 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, 3100 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Participants should check in at the ranger station for parking and course instructions. All ages and experience levels welcome. The class is free with park entry; reservations are requested.
