The scholarship ministry of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and Chi Delta Omega Chapter, of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., will be providing tutoring to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The group also will offer a program to develop emerging leadership skills through mentoring young girls in grades six through 12.
Both programs will be held 3:30-5:45 p.m. Tuesdays, at Mount Calvary, 75 Pine Lakes Parkway.
Students are asked to bring their homework if help is needed; they can also learn FCAT skills and character development. Parents must transport their children.
Programs start Sept. 27; preregistration is recommended. Call 447-5719.
