Roker's BMX track loses traction in Flagler

Promoter Renny Roker wrote via email that signs are pointing to building a BMX bicycle racing track in another county, rather than in Flagler, due to lack of funding.

Roker told the Palm Coast Observer this summer that he hoped the track would be built at the Steel Rail Industrial Park, on U.S. 1, and open by October.

Sam Cline, who owns the Steel Rail Industrial Park, said he still has a contract making the park available for construction through the end of the year.
