Deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Sharps Liquor Store in Flagler Regional Plaza on State Road 100 around 10:36 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, in response to a reported armed robbery.

Deputies said a store customer called deputies after he found the store door locked and heard the cashier screaming for help.

The clerk told deputies that a black male came in the store and asked for help finding an item. He was wearing a helmet, riding jacket and gloves. The clerk said the man grabbed her and ordered her at gunpoint to open the register and safe.

He then took the money, made her lock the door and ordered her into the stock room, where he bound her legs and hands. The robber reportedly fled out of the store’s back door.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call 313-4911 or 1-888-277-8477.
