Amvets riders named organization of the month in Flagler, by Special Olympics

Special Olympics Flagler County has named the Amvets Post 113 riders as the organization of the month for hosting the Special Olympics poker run.

The group collected $1,210 in one day. Brandon Currier, Special Olympics athlete, joined the riders and earned his vest with patches.

The Special Olympics newsletter stated: “It’s organizations like this that help support our sports program ... We are grateful and appreciative of what they do for our athletes.”
