Residents near the intersection of Seminole Woods Boulevard and Sloganeer Trail, in Palm Coast, may see flames tonight, June 9, as crews set fire to brush, conducting a back burn to eliminate fuel sources for the nearby White Eagle Fire.

Seminole Woods Boulevard south of Sloganeer Trail is closed during the burn to decrease chances of the fire spreading.

The White Eagle Fire, the closest wildfire to Seminole Woods, is about 120 acres and 80% contained, according to www.FlaglerEmergency.com.

The neighborhood on Sloganeer and the Integra Woods Apartments are the closest residents to the fire.
