Florida Hospital Flagler has donated $3,000 to the Volusia/Flagler chapter of the United Way.

"Every one dollar given to the United Way can be multiplied nine times to buy food — so Florida Hospital Flagler’s $3,000 donation can translate into $27,000 worth of meals for residents in the community,” said Ray Salazar, president of United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties Inc.

"We recognize that by supporting this nonprofit organization, Florida Hospital Flagler directly funds the programs that help the people within our own community," said David Ottati, Florida Hospital Flagler CEO.

The United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties helps build stronger communities by compiling resources from across the region, and by developing partnerships with businesses, government and nonprofit organizations.
