The African American Cultural Society will host a New Year’s Eve dinner with hors d'oeuvres and a cash cocktail reception beginning 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the club, 4422 N. U.S. 1.

The doors of the center's great hall will be open 8 p.m.

Deejay Terrance Arthur will perform the ultimate in music and a traditional cuisine will reflect tastes of a southern and Caribbean holiday fare.

There will be raffles, along with party favors, a midnight champagne toast, complimentary table wine and a cash bar.

The party will act as the closing to the club’s 20th anniversary year, while counting down to midnight via cable link to New York City Times Square.

Other New Year’s events are:

Early Bird New Year’s — 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the VFW, 47 Old Kings Road. Open bar, light snacks, dinner served at 5 p.m. There will be music and dancing until 10 p.m. Tickets are $30. All are welcome. Call 446-8696.
 

Annual Watch Night Service — 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Pine Lakes Parkway S. Call 447-5719.
 

New Years Day Services — 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan.1, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2323 N. State Street, Bunnell. Praise service at 9 a.m., followed by a Gospel service at 10 a.m. Call 437-4113.
 

New Years Day Celebration Worship Service — 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan.1, at First Baptist Church, 6050 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. Call 445-2020.
