Sunshine Academy students paraded out of their classroom Friday, Nov. 19, in Indian headdresses, pilgrim hats and full turkey costumes.
The costume parade was just the beginning of the Thanksgiving celebration. Families were invited to join the students for a Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings. The school provided turkeys for each classroom, and parents chipped in to provide side dishes and desserts.
This yearly celebration also took place at Sunshine Academy Flagler Beach.
