The 2026 Sheriff's Gala was held on March 21, raising funds for the Flagler Sheriff's Office employees.
The Gala is the only fundraiser for the the Flagler Sheriff's Employee Assistance Trust, a nonprofit organization that provides financial support to the men and women of the FCSO during emergencies like hurricane, fire, line-of-duty death or life changing critical injury. The FSEAT was founded in 2017 by Sheriff Rick Staly.
The Gala was held at the Hammock Beach Resort with a live band. Employees, volunteers and Flagler citizens were recognized for their service over their last year.
Among those honored for their service was Cody Clark, who was given the Citizen of the Year award by Staly. Clark was instrumental in helping deputies make two arrests and recover a missing juvenile who had been kidnapped in December 2025.
