The Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties recently announced it is accepting grant applications for its 2026-2028 Community Impact Grants.

According to a press release, eligible nonprofit organizations serving Flagler and/or Volusia Counties are invited to apply for funding in four priority areas: Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, Healthy Community and Community Resiliency. Applications must be submitted by March 13 and are available through CF/UWVFC’s online grant database system at ConnectVFC.org/our-impact/grant-seekers.

Announcement of the application process follows CF/UWVFC's $800,000 investment across 25 nonprofit partners during the 2025-2026 funding cycle.

“The challenges facing our neighbors in Volusia and Flagler Counties are real and evolving — from economic insecurity to health disparities,” said Courtney Edgcomb, president and CEO of CF/UWVFC. “Our Community Impact Grants are designed to meet those challenges head-on by investing in the nonprofits that are closest to the people and providing solutions and opportunities for our residents.”

CF/UWVFC's volunteer Community Impact Cabinet reviews all submitted applications and makes funding recommendations.

“I have seen firsthand how transformative these grants can be — for the nonprofits that receive funding and for the thousands of individuals and families whose lives are changed as a result,” said Jan Miller, board chair of CF/UWVFC. "The work of our 25 funded partners from the last cycle speaks for itself — it's proof of what becomes possible when a community rallies around a shared vision. We encourage every mission-aligned nonprofit serving Volusia and Flagler Counties to seize this opportunity and apply."
