The Volusia Recovery Alliance celebrated the grand opening of its new location at 420 N. Halifax Ave., Suite 150, in Daytona Beach.
The Volusia Recovery Alliance is a nonprofit organization that coordinates peer-driven services that provide substance use recovery resources. On Jan. 22, the Alliance celebrated the grand opening of their new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The ceremony was a collaborative effort between the Daytona Regional Chamber, the Port Orange South Daytona Chamber, and the Hispanic Chamber of Central Florida, a Daytona Regional Chamber press release said.
The VRA developed with a grant from the AETNA Foundation and began with a community symposium, according to the VRA's website.
