More than 450 students participated in the second annual Indian Trails Middle School Career Expo on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
The event, held in partnership with the Flagler County Education Foundation, showcased the programs of choice offered at Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas high schools, local businesses providing information about career paths and nonprofits showcasing community service and advocacy opportunities.
High School students provided eighth graders and their families with information on the classroom to career programs available to the them next year.
Students utilized a passport system as they visited various tables. Completed passports were entered into a drawing for gift cards.
Buddy Taylor Middle School will hold its Career Expo on Jan. 30.
