Parkview Church in Palm Coast is preparing to welcome guests and volunteers for the 2026 Night to Shine, a special evening designed to celebrate individuals with special needs through a global movement supported by the Tim Tebow Foundation.
The event will take place Friday, Feb. 13, beginning at 6 p.m., and will be held concurrently with hundreds of Night to Shine celebrations hosted by churches worldwide. The annual event, held each year on the Friday before Valentine’s Day, focuses on creating an inclusive prom-style experience that highlights dignity, joy and belonging.
At Parkview Church, guests will arrive via a red-carpet entrance and enjoy a range of activities throughout the evening, including hair and makeup stations, shoeshines, limousine rides, karaoke, dancing and a catered dinner. Organizers have also planned a sensory room for guests needing a quieter environment, along with a respite room for parents and caregivers. The night will culminate in a ceremony honoring each guest as a king or queen.
Parkview Church expects to host as many as 150 honored guests and will rely on the support of more than 350 volunteers to make the evening possible. Lead Pastor Greg Peters said the event reflects the church’s commitment to serving families in the community.
“Night to Shine is a powerful opportunity to show God’s love in a very tangible way,” Peters said. “We hope it will be a meaningful and uplifting experience for every guest and volunteer involved.”
Founded by former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, the Tim Tebow Foundation sponsors Night to Shine by providing host churches with planning resources, guidance and support. Since its launch 11 years ago, the event has reached more than half a million guests and engaged more than one million volunteers around the world.
