"Men Painting Women" showcases the art of Ormond Beach artist Robert Shirk, Orlando artist Herbie Martin, Palm Coast artist Weldon Ryan and Daytona Beach artist John Darovitz.

Ormond Beach artist Robert Shirk gathered the artists together for the original show in the summer of 2020 at the Orlando Public Library, according to a news release.

"Most of the important influencers in my life have been women," Shirk said in his artist statement. "I am who I am today because of what these wonderful women have instilled in me.

My paintings of women celebrate the qualities I have learned from these wonderful women. The beauty, and unconditional love of my mother. The warmth, and nurturing support of my grandmother. The erotic passion, and sensuality of my lovers. The strength, intuition, encouragement, dedication, and eternal love of the most awe-inspiring and magnificent woman of all, my wife."
