Neighborhood meeting planned for new townhomes near Yoon Way in Ormond Beach

The developer, Engineer Realty, LLC, is seeking a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment and rezoning to construct 12 townhome units on a 2.81-acre property.

A neighborhood meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 26, for a new townhome development proposed to be constructed at 1190 W. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach.

Law firm Cobb Cole will conduct the meeting — to be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St. — to discuss the Yoon Townhomes development. The developer, Engineer Realty, LLC, is seeking a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment and rezoning to construct 12 townhome units on the 2.81-acre property along Yoon Way.

The property is currently zoned Special Environmental. The developer is seeking a rezoning to R-4 Single Family Cluster and Town House District. 

This is not the first time the developer has proposed a townhome development on this parcel of land. In 2021, the City Commission denied a land use amendment for the property that would have allowed up to 18 townhomes.
