AdventHealth Daytona Beach ranked third in the state among inpatient rehabilitation programs for 2025 by a recent Newsweek analysis.
According to a press release, the ranking drew on federal quality measures, national surveys of rehabilitation experts and patient reviews.
“When someone begins rehabilitation, they’re often facing one of the biggest hills they’ll ever climb,” said Dr. David Sinclair, president and CEO of AdventHealth Daytona Beach. “Our role is to steady that climb. People want to know they’ll be cared for by a team that combines skill with empathy and hope with practical support. This recognition helps families see the caliber of care available right here in our community.”
AdventHealth Daytona Beach's rehabilitation unit has 32 beds and operates within the hospital. The program includes 18 registered nurses and two physiatrists, including the medical director and a dedicated nurse practitioner.
The Newsweek recognition comes as AdventHealth Daytona Beach continues a multi-year expansion scheduled for completion in 2026. The project will add intensive care, neurology and surgical resources.
