Fair price: Flagler County Fair and Youth Show culminates with livestock auction

Youth in FFA and 4-H agriculture programs participated in four nights of showmanship competition leading up to the auction.

The 2026 Flagler County Fair and Youth Show was held on April 13-17 at the Flagler County Fairgrounds. The annual event serves as both a showcase and a learning experience for local youth in the FFA and 4-H agriculture programs.

The students raise, show and sell their livestock. Over the first four days they showed off their chickens, rabbits, swine, wethers, steers and heifers. Each night featured showmanship competitions leading up to the auction on Friday, April 17 .

“We are here to promote agriculture in Florida to FFA and 4-H youth,” Flagler County Fair and Youth Show Board President Penny Buckles said.
