Sports bar meets pinball arcade: Flip's Ormond Beach celebrates ribbon cutting

Also: Neighborhood meeting set for April 15 for new townhomes.

Flip's Ormond Beach celebrated its grand opening at 175 N. Yonge St. with a ribbon cutting by the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, April 2.

pinball machines. Its menu includes a selection of flatbreads, wings, burgers, sandwiches and more. Flip's also offers a selection of local and international craft beers.

The sports bar opened their doors in late October 2025. 

"We are excited to be members of the Ormond Beach community and looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the future of Flips," the sports bar wrote on its Facebook page.

Townhomes proposed on Granada

A neighborhood meeting to discuss a proposed townhome development at 1190 W. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at the Ormond Beach Regional Library.

Engineer Realty, LLC, the developer of the project is seeking a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment and rezoning to construct 12 townhome units on the 2.81-acre property along Yoon Way.  

This follows an informational meeting held in late January and will also be conducted by the Cobb Cole law firm, who is representing the developer. The presentation will remain the same, according to the neighborhood meeting notice, though minor project updates may be discussed. 

The property is currently zoned Special Environmental. The developer is seeking a rezoning to R-4 Single Family Cluster and Town House District.
