More than 6,500 people attended the Easter celebrations at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast, marking one of the largest turnouts in recent years.
Easter Sunday began with a sunrise service at 6:15 a.m. at the church columbarium, followed by a full schedule of masses at 6:30 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon and 5 p.m, which was in Spanish.

The weekend consisted of celebrations, such as the Easter Vigil that took place on Saturday, April 4. The vigil acted as a liturgy that lasted nearly three hours. During this service, 42 individuals were received into the Catholic Church after completing the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, or OCIA.
Leading up to Easter, during Holy Week, an all-day Adoration and Confession was held on Monday, March 30, where a total of 823 people received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Throughout the Lenten season, more than 1,500 parishioners participated in confession.
The Easter liturgies were further enriched by the parish choir under the direction of Tom Labanauskas, whose music adds to the solemnity of each celebration at the church.
