Happy Easter

10:12 p.m. — Mile Marker 279, Interstate 95, southbound in Flagler County

Drug possession. A 20-year-old Palm Coast woman who was caught with four different types of meth only told the officers arresting her, “Happy Easter”  when she was arrested after a traffic stop.

The woman and a man were driving southbound on I-95 when a Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled them over for swerving while driving. The woman was not driving the car, but was instead in the passenger seat when Sheriff’s Office deputies pulled over the pickup truck.

As she and the driver got out of the truck, one deputy noticed the woman attempt to hide a small plastic bag in the door, an arrest report said.

The deputy searched the woman’s seat and belongings and found multiple drugs organized in a clear pill organizer.

When the deputy told the woman about the drugs they’d found, the suspect only told the officer, “Happy Easter.”

Consequences

9:50 p.m. — 5400 blood of North Shore Boulevard, Flagler County

Drug possession. An Indiana man was arrested by Sheriff’s Office deputies after he was warned not to drive with a suspended license and did it anyway.

Initially, deputies talked to the driver and the suspect at a gas station, and after checking ID’s, found the suspect had a suspended license. The deputies warned the suspect not to drive, an arrest report said.

Later that day, a separate deputy caught the suspect driving down a state road. When he came up behind the truck, the driver got out to greet him. The driver was the suspect with a suspended license.

A search of the suspect’s vehicle found two guns, 61 suboxone pills and two digital scales. He was taken to the county jail.
