Flagler Palm Coast's softball team honored its only senior, shortstop Sanai Figueiredo, on Monday, April 6, and then defeated Seabreeze 13-3 in five innings.
Figueiredo went 2 for 3 for the Bulldogs (), who lashed 11 hits in the game. Freshman Ava Zublionis went 2 for 4 with a triple and a homer, three RBIs and three runs scored. Layla Sackett had three hits and scored three runs for the Bulldogs. Chloe Foster went 2 for 4 with two RBIs.
Hailey Goff hit a two-run double for the Sandcrabs.
FPC pitcher Shaylin Rogers allowed three runs on three hits in five innings. Rogers struck out eight batters and walked five.
The Bulldogs improved to 5-11, while the Sandcrabs fell to 7-7-1.
