The garden of Angela and Vinny Yacuzzi of Feling Lane is the Garden Club at Palm Coast's Selection of the Month for October.

The Yacuzzis moved to Palm Coast seven years ago from Worcester, Massachusetts. Angela was an accountant, now retired, and Vinny was self-employed as a stone mason and still works full-time.

Angela became a member of The Garden Club at Palm Coast, where she acquired much knowledge on how to grow succulents and other varieties of cactus. She also joined the East Coast Bromeliad Society.

The front island features a pygmy date palm, prickly pear cactus, a myriad of succulents, a large variety of bromeliads, pink, red, and yellow crown of thorns, three dracaena trees, and yellow and red roses.

Going toward the back yard, there are golden dewdrops, Texas bluebells, tillandsia, oyster plants, large starfish cactus, crinum lily, palm lily (Cordyline Rubra), agapanthus and angel trumpet.

The Garden Club meets on the second Monday of the Month September through May at Club 51, 51 Old Kings Road N., Palm Coast. The plant sale is open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
