Daytona Beach resident collects, donates over 21,000 pounds of food to Second Harvest over two years

A Margaritaville resident has collected and donated over 21,000 pounds of food to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida over the last two years.

James Roper, of Daytona Beach, has collected and donated 21,460 pounds of food to Second Harvest. His most recent donation on Sept. 3 continues his commitment to fighting food insecurity in the community, a press release said. 

The food Roper collected goes directly to the Volusia County branch of Second Harvest, located in Daytona Beach.
