Thursday, Sept. 11

Fifth annual 9/11 memorial tribute climb

When: 8:15 a.m. 

Where: Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa, 200 Ocean Crest Drive, Palm Coast

Details: The public is invited to attend a tribute ceremony in memory of the first responders who died on 9/11. Participants will climb 110 flights of stairs, symbolizing the climb New York City firefighters made inside the World Trade Center. No climb required to attend the ceremony. Free.

Little Artists workshop

When: 10:30 a.m. to noon

Where: Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens, 78 E. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach

Details: Young artists ages 3-5 will explore an art element with activities designed to develop fine motor skills and encourage imagination. The program ends with immersive storytelling. 'Weaving a tapestry': Genealogy and Family History

Art of Healing workshop

Daytona Beach Cat Show and adoption event

Details: The Cat Fanciers’ Association's annual cat show will host over 100 cats competing for "Best Cat in Show," a cat costume contest, feline agility and adoptable cats. Cardboard Regatta

Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park History Tour

Details: Join this one-hour-long tour that will take park visitors through the rise and fall of the sugar economy during the Second Seminole War. Tour involves a half-mile round trip walk across a nature trail with uneven footing. Bring sunscreen, bug protection and water.

Kiwanis Club of Flagler County open house

Film screening: 'Kon-Tiki'

18th annual Intracoastal Waterway Cleanup

Flagler OARS disc golf tournament fundraiser

3rd annual Ormond Beach Elks Duck Drop

Third annual Cruis'n 4 Paws
