Sixth annual VMA Robot Brawl

When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s ICI Center, 1 Aerospace Blvd., Daytona Beach

Details: Over 16 schools will battle it out in head-to-head robot competitions. The event will also feature the Volusia STEM bus, a bomb squad and Embry-Riddle clubs. Second annual Italian Festival

When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Flagler County Fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell

Break the Tape and Bring Back Books

Details: Celebrate the last day of Banned Book Week with Citizens for Truth and Justice in Education and the National Coalition Against Censorship Right to Read Network. 1940s Exhibit opening party
