Robert C. Beymer, age 92, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on September 6, 2025 at his home in Palm Coast, surrounded by loving family.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations, 39 Old Kings Rd., N., on Wednesday, September 24th at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends before the service from 9:30 a.m. until service hour.
Robert was born on June 14, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Robert H. Beymer & Olive Mae Fulton Beymer. He was a graduate of Centerville High School in Centerville, PA and at the age of 21, he joined the U.S. Army, serving from 1954 until 1956 and receiving his Honorable Discharge as a Private First Class. Following his military service, he married Marlene Detrick on March 2, 1957 in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Robert went on to become a licensed electrician and worked as an industrial electrician for numerous companies over the length of his career. He was a long-time member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.) The Beymers moved to Palm Coast in 1998 from Brunswick, Ohio. In his spare time, Robert was an avid wood worker and an amateur radio operator.
Robert is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marlene Beymer and their daughters, Barbara Polomsky (husband, James) & Robin Heflin (husband, John).
