Harold L. Roberts passed away peacefully at home in the care of family and friends on November 13, 2025. He enjoyed 88 years of a full, rewarding life and is now with the Lord. Born in Livingston, TN on January 23, 1937, he was the son of Amelia (Rich) Roberts and Ervin Roberts. A car enthusiast his entire life, he moved to Anderson, IN as a young man and worked in the auto industry for over 40 years first with GM and then a decades long career in management with United Auto Workers. If there was any type of auto race on TV, he was tuned in. He loved his Dallas Cowboys, LA Dodgers and especially his beloved Tennessee Vols. He will be dearly loved and missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his son Rick Roberts (partner Jodi McDonald) of St. Augustine, FL; Grandson Noah Roberts and his wife Cynthia (Robleto) of Duluth GA; Step Grandson Aaron Hanson of Robertsdale AL; his Niece Dianne (Hunter) Upchurch and Nephew Don Hunter both of Livingston TN; and his longtime special companion Barb Brancaccio of Palm Coast Fl. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Earl Roberts, sister Ruth (Roberts) Hunter, Nephew Butch Hunter and former wife Sandra (Parrigin) Roberts. A memorial service will be held for all family and friends at a later announced date in his hometown of Livingston, TN.
