This week, Congressman Randy Fine announced he co-sponsored the Voting Only Through English (VOTE) Act, introduced by Congressman Abe Hamadeh of Arizona. This legislation requires that ballots be printed in English in order for states to qualify for federal election funding. The bill reinforces President Trump’s recent Executive Order declaring English as the official language of the United States, protecting our democracy from foreign influence and preserving the integrity of the American identity.

“If the only language you can speak is a foreign language, then go vote in a foreign election,” said Congressman Fine. “American elections are for Americans who speak English, period. I’m proud to co-sponsor my good friend Congressman Hamadeh’s bill and look forward to seeing it signed into law.”

President Trump has made it clear through his English language executive order that those who come to America must assimilate and embrace our values. Congressman Fine stands firmly with the President in defending those values and strengthening America’s cultural unity.
